JOHN AND YOKO
Book Cover Design
For this project, I chose a famous couple, John Lennon and Yoko Ono and designed a book cover to represent their relationship. My design had to honor the Penguin Random House Publishing Brand. Final deliverables included front and back cover and bookmarks.
PROCESS:
My final design honors the unique nature of the couple as well as the discomfort their relationship brought to the public. Using typography and imaging I reference the couple’s involvement in anti-war protests. Overall, my design nods at the strange but beautiful nature of their relationship.
